Controller and contact
Bunker Tattoo is responsible for the use of personal data described on this page. Our studio is at St. Annastraat 12-A, 4811 XK Breda, the Netherlands. Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 60212438. VAT number: NL001688253B70.
For questions or requests about your data, email info@bunkertattoo.com or call +31 76 51 41 890. This statement covers our website, enquiries, appointments, shop and newsletter. Updated on 17 October 2026.
Your enquiry, tattoo request or appointment
We process the details you enter: name, email address, phone number and language, and any Instagram, address, preferred artist or style, placement, size, budget, timing, description and reference images you provide. Work selected from the gallery is linked to your enquiry. A booking request also records the selected time, duration, appointment type and status. The source page and any campaign source may be stored with your request.
We use these details to handle your idea or question, contact you and prepare or carry out a possible appointment. The basis is steps at your request before entering a contract and performing that contract. Data is held in our website and studio administration and in messages to you and the relevant studio or artist. Required fields are marked in the form; without sufficient contact details we cannot handle your enquiry.
We keep this data while handling your enquiry, preparing or carrying out an appointment and completing related follow-up. Afterwards, the criteria are whether data is still needed for agreed service, an ongoing question or complaint, a dispute or required administration. For reference images, completion of the enquiry or appointment and whether the image is still needed for design or follow-up also matter. Different types of data therefore do not all have the same retention period.
Please do not submit medical information or a copy of an identity document through a free-text field or upload. Sending a reference image does not automatically give permission to publish it in our gallery or marketing.
Apple Contacts and Calendar
When its integration is enabled, Bunker Studio can send your name, email address and phone number to our Apple iCloud address book for contact about your enquiry or appointment. Signing up only for the newsletter does not start this synchronisation. A linked Apple Calendar is used for availability and confirmed appointments. An entry can contain your name, appointment time, contact details, booking reference and description.
This supports handling and fulfilling your enquiry or appointment. Data may therefore also be held in Apple services and on linked studio devices. A data request can also concern those copies. Unsubscribing from marketing does not automatically delete an appointment or contact record. See the Apple privacy policy.
Shop, payments and administration
For a purchase, we process the checkout details needed for your order, payment, delivery and service. These can include your name, email, billing or delivery details, selected products, and order and payment status. Our shop administration uses WooCommerce. Data needed for a payment or deposit is shared with the payment service used; delivery details may be shared with a delivery service.
The basis is performance of the purchase contract and, for required administration, a legal obligation. Order and payment data remains necessary while fulfilling the order and for as long as service, an ongoing dispute or required administration demands. The information needed for your order is shown at checkout.
Optional newsletter
With your separate subscription, we use your email address and any name and language preference for inspiration, studio news and offers. The basis is your voluntary consent, which you can withdraw. The module records the choice, time, wording and signup source. Sending a tattoo enquiry does not itself subscribe you to marketing.
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to opt out. We then ask you to confirm, to prevent an email scanner from unsubscribing you by accident. Marketing emails stop after unsubscribing. A limited record of your opt-out may still be needed to avoid adding you again by mistake. Data needed for an appointment or purchase is handled separately.
Security and spam protection
Forms use checks against spam, fraud and automated abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website and forms secure and available. We limit this processing to the data needed for that security and abuse prevention, taking your privacy interests into account.
Where Google reCAPTCHA is active, your browser connects to Google for that purpose. Google may process technical data such as your IP address and browser information. This spam check is separate from your Google Analytics and Ads choices. Read the Google privacy policy and Google terms. Security data is needed only for as long as preventing or investigating abuse requires.
Cookies and optional Google measurement
We ask for separate permission for our Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement through Cookie choices. The basis is your separate consent for Analytics and Ads. Refusing does not prevent a tattoo enquiry. You can change or withdraw your choices there later.
The measurement module measures website use, received enquiries and advertising results. Its events do not include names, contact details, tattoo descriptions, booking numbers or reference files. The information below this page explains technical data, cookie settings and choices. Shop and other functional cookies are not automatically covered by these Google choices.
Recipients and international services
Data for your enquiry, appointment or purchase is intended for the relevant studio staff and artists and the services used for that purpose. Recipients can include hosting and email providers, Apple for Contacts and Calendar, Google for reCAPTCHA and measurement you permit, and the payment or delivery services used. We share the data needed for those purposes.
Apple and Google are international providers. Their services may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Their information explains processing and transfers; the actual operation also depends on the service and settings used. Read the Apple privacy policy and Google privacy policy. You can ask us about the services used and information about applicable transfers.
Your data and rights
You can ask us for access, correction, erasure or restrictions on the use of your data. You may also object and, where applicable, request portability. You can withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. Email info@bunkertattoo.com. We may carefully verify your identity and assess applicable rights and retention duties. You may also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
